In the Matter of grading and 8urfacing with bituminous material the alley adjacent
to Lots 21 to 40, Block 19, A. V. Browns 5ubdivision from Palace Avenue to Jefferson
Avenue as part of the West Seventh Renewal Area G-1980. Also construct sewer for
storm water purposes in Palace Avenue from the alley to Arbor Avenue and in the alley
fram Palace Avenue to a point 40 feet North of Palace Avenue,
under Preliminary Order 254�5� approve� M�Tlti., �47�
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That tY�e nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to grade and surface with bituminous material the �1iey adjacent to Lots 21 to 40,
Block 19, A. V. Browns Subdivision from Palace Avenue to Jefferson Avenue as part of
the West Seventh Renewal Area G-1980. Also construct sewer for storm water purposes
in Palace;`.Avenue from the alley to Arbor Avenue and in the alley from Palace Avenue
to a point 40 feet North of Palace Avenue,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 9391.00
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 13th day of
JulY, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'cicek A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta.ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
