In the Matter of improving BAY STREET from Palace Avenue to Jefferson Avenue;
PALACE AVEPiUE fram View Street to Bay Street; VIEW STREET from Palace Avenue to
Jefferson Avenue by regrading and surfacing with bituminous material and constructing
concrete curb and gutter; construcC storm water drainage facilities; construct, where
necessary, concrete sidewalk, driveways and service walks; and do all other work which
is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, (G-1980),
under Preliminary Order 253868 pproved April 30, 1971 ,
�_The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report.and,the same is nereby app�oved and adopted, and ttie said impravemeirt 3
is hereb��orde"red �o be procee�ied with. " `
. 2. That the nature of_the improvement which the Council xecomme�ds is
� to improve BAY STREET from Palace Avenue to Jefferson Avenue; PALACE AVSNUE from
View Street to Bay Street; VIEW STREET from Palace A�enue to Jefferson Avenue by
regrading and surfacing with bituminous material and constructing concrete curb
and gutter; construct storm water drainage facilities; construct, 'where necessary,
concrete sidewalk, driveways and service walks; and do all other work which is
necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, (G-1980),
with no alternatives, and that tlte estimated coat thereof is $ 65,826.00„
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 13th day of
:rul�., 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
