In the matter of condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral suppart from subject
land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or constructirnof
slopes in the grading and surfacing with bituminous material the Sasterly North-South
alley in Block 6, The Hamline Syndicate Addition No. 2, from Thomas Avenue to Lafond
Avenue, (G-1976),
under Preliminary Order 2.5���� , approved March 24� 1971 ,
Intermediary Order ,����nt� , approved ,��1 21� 1971 ,
Fina1 Order 254060 , approved Ma�,�� 1971 ,
The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the ta.king �of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Pesolved, That tlie said asse,ssment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the

' sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
