In the Matter of condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of latersl support from subject
land or rem*inder thereof� occasioned by excavations thereof, or construction of
slopes in the grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 1,
Howard Green Second Addition from Lexington Parkway to Interstate 35E (G-1994),
under Preliminary Order 256415 approved November 18, 1971 ,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and
fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or remainder
thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof, or construction of slopes in the gr$ding
and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 1, Ha�ard Green Second
Addition from Lexington Parkway to Int�rstate 35E(G-1994) , in accordance with the
bl�e��int h�r�to a��achedl,ian� ma�� a t hereof, the hatched portions showing the cuts
an e sha e por ons s ow n e f���s
with no alternatives, and that the es�imated cost �hereof is $ 80.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 1s t day of
February, 1972 , at the hour of 10 o'cicek A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated. ,
