WHEREAS, the wage-price freeze , Phase Two, has indi-
cated a continued effort to keep prices stable; and
WHEREAS, the recent increase by the Saint Paul
Municipal Court in parking fines does not appear to be
in keeping with the wage-price freeze guidelines ; and
WHEREAS, it further appears to this Council that
said increase in parking fines will not have a salutary
effect on business or in alleviating the traffic problem,
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that this Council requests that the Judges
of the Saint Pau1 Munic.ipal Court reconsider their recent
action in inereasing fines on parking violations .
