COMMISSIONE

RESOLVED, That the ou cil of the City of Saint Paul
hereby authorizes and directs the proper City officers to
set up and establish an account for the purpose of Public
Utility Investigation - gas, out of which fund the City may
pay that part of the annual salary of The Public Utility
Engineer, his assistant or assistants, clerical help and
office expenses, outside accountants, attorneys, advisors,
and consultants' fees, reasonably related to the regulations
of the Northern States Power Company, its rate schedules, and
other matters and operations under its permit ordinance No.
14786, approved May 13, 1971, together with the necessary costs
and expenses incurred as a result of a rate hearing to be

conducted in connection with a filing by said company for an in-

� crease in its gas rates in and for the City of Saint Paul, such
