WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 135�' Annual Meeting and
dinner on Thursday, Februazy 13, 2003 at the Saint Paul River Centre; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paui has accepted six compiimentary tickets, valued at $95.00 each for
a total of $570.00 to attend the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and
dinner. The public purpose in accepting this gift is that City staff will be aware of the goals
and help celebrate the accomplishments of the Saint Paul Chamber for 2002, look forward to
Chamber initiatives that involve the City for 2003, recognize volunteer members with awards and
meet the new Chamber members of the board; and

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has appropriated the six tickets to attend the event and would
like to thank the Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce for providing this opportunity to city staff; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council does hereby approve
of the acceptance of the tickets for the annual mee6ng and dinner so that City staff could attend
this event.
