THIS INDENTURE made this `7Q day of ,
1971, between TRANSAMERICA INVESTMENT GROUP, a Minnesota
Limited Partnership, party of the first part, and the CITY OF
SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA, a municipal corporation organized and
existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota, party of
the second part, .
W I T N E S S E T H :
That the said party of the first part, in considera-
tion of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10 .00) to it in hand paid p
by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby Grant, Bargain, Quitclaim,
and Convey unto the said party of the second part, its suc-
cessors and assigns , forever all the tracts or parcels of
land lying and being in the County of Ramsey and State of
.
Minnesota, described as follows , to-wit :
That part of Lot 16 , Block 11, City of St. PauT lying below
a plane surface at elevation 78 feet and lying within the
following described lines : beginning at the Southeasterly
corner of said Lot 16 thence 28. 83 feet Westerl_y along the '
Southerly line of said Block 11 thence Northerly at right
angles a distance of 104 .63 feet, thence Easterly along a
line parallel to the Southerly line of said Block 11 to the
Easterly boundary of Block 11 and there terminating, except •
the Southerly 13 feet o� said Lot 16 for widening East 5th
Street and the Easterly 20 feet of said Lot 16 for Robert
Street as widened. .
The interest conveyed herein is subject to all of
the covenants, conditions and reservations set forth in that
certain DEED OF CONVEYANCE OF LAND FOR DEVELOPMENT made the
�� day of December, 1971, between the Housing and Redevelop-
ment Authority of the City of Saint � Paul , Minnesota, a public

body corporate and politic organized and existing under the
laws of the State of Minnesota, as party of the � first part,
, and Transamerica Investment Group, a limited partnership,
organized under the laws of Minnesota, party af the second
part.
The interest herein conveyed is further subject �
to the terms and conditions of that certain space lease made
and entered into on the 17th day of September, 1971, by and
between Transamerica Investment Group, a limited partnership,
organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota, and the
American National Bank & Trust Company, of Saint Pau1 , Minnesota,
a national banking association.
The party of the first part will be responsible for
the ini�ial installation of the sidewalk and its maintenance
and repair , and hereby reserves to itself tY�e use thereof.
To Have and to Hold the Same, Together with all
the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belon.ging or
in anywise appertainings , to the said party of the second
part, its successors and assigns, Forever. �
In Testimony whereof , the said first party has
caused these presents to be executed the day and year first
