RESOLVED: That the Purchasing Agent be suthorized for the Department of Parks
and Recreation and Public Buildings to purchase materials and services necessary
to restore the Battle Creek ski jump landing area for use in the 1971-72 season
at a cost of approximately $3,000.00 as an emergency under section 291 of the
City Charter without comnetitive bids as failure to act �romptly would work in-
3ury to the_City.
