The assesament crf beaeEits� cost and earnenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered saxne
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RFSOLVED FURTHER, Th,at a public heaxing be had an sa.id assessment on the 25th
day of Jannary, 1972 , , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give natice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, and the amount assessed against the lot or lots of the paxticular
owner to whom the notice is directed.

The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to improve GEORGE STkEEr from Ohio Street to Concord Street (City Project P-0474)
as follows: widen, grade and pave; construct curb and gutter; construct street,
_a11ey and driveway returns; construct a bituminous overlay; construct storm water
drainage facilities; construct se;aer°, water and gas service �annections; and do all
ot7er work which is necessary and in�idental ta comglete said improvement,
with no alternati��es, and that the estimated cost thereof is $_ 130,G00�00
Resolved Further, '�hat a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 25th _day of
___ January, �972 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Euilding in the City of St. Paul. fihat the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said ;neeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
