WNEREAS, The Commissioner of Public Safety and the Bureau of Health have
sub��'tted investigation and inspection reports pertaining to the hereinafter described
properties, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof;
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the conditions described in the hereinafter
described properties constitutes nuisance which threaten the public peace, health
and safety; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 314 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul
and Section 265.52 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, 24 hours' notice has been
given to the owner, occupant, or agent of each of such properties demanding the
abatement and r�moval of such nuisances; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That upon the recomriendation of the Comnissioner of Public Safety,
the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby directed to sumnarily and forthwith
remove the said nuisances from the following described properties:
Vacant lot: North East corner of Ashland and Wilder - Lot 16, Block 2, Merriam Park
Third Addition
Old auto wheel , boards, tin cans, old toilet, bed springs, dead tree li�s, broken
glass, rank growth of weeds. REmove from lot and boulevard
579 Dayton - Lot 19, Block 2, Woodland Park Addition
Yard filled with the remains of an old elm tree. Remove. ,
706 Marshall - Lot 8, Block 2, Holcomb Addition
Two jank refrigerators and rnetal parts in garage. Remove.
2001 Nortonia - Lot 15, Block 20, Beaver Lake Heights Addition
Tall grass and refuse on exterior of house. Cut grass and remove refnse.
1058 Rice Street - Lot 5, Block 6, Rodger's Addition
Considerable anaunt of debris existing at the inside of a barn on this property.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Comnissioner of Public Safety is directed to
ascertain the cost of such removal and to forward the same to the County Auditor
on or before October 1 of the year in which ascertained for collection in the same
