��< WHEREAS, Comptroller's Contract L-7339, Ashbach Construction Company, Contractor
for Paving MARYLAND AVENUE frot� Johnson Parkway to 200 ft. East of Prosperity Avenue,
� City Project No. 70-P-0529, has been substantially completed, and
WI�REAS, Said Contractor requests that a portion of the 109; retained ander the
contract from estimates for w�rk done be paid in advance of the final completion of
the contract, and
WHEREAS, The CoAnnissioner and Chief Engineer of the Department of Public Works
approve the payment at this time of $6186.04 of the $7186.04 retained; therefore
be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby authorized to
pay an estimate in the amount o£ $6186.04 from the retained percentage of $7186.04
to said Contractor; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution shall have no force or effect unless
the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto in writing and f ile such
consent with the City Com�troller.
