I RESOLUTION HONORING JAN KERAN FOR HER YEARS OF SERVICE AS THE LEGISLATIVE AIDE FOR WARD FIVE
2 WHEREAS, Jan Keran served the citizens of the City of Saint Paul and Ward Five as a committed and dedicated Legislarive Aide to
3 Councilmember Jim Reiter since January of 1998, and
4 WHEREAS, Jan's good humor, pleasant personality, and competence made her a pleasure to work with and an effecrive collaborator with
5 the late Councilmember Reiter, and
6 WIiEREAS, Jan is the type of person who eschews public accolades preferring to work quietly behind the scenes wiTh little or no public
7 recognirion,and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council believes that it is importaut not only to recognize Jan's many comributions to the City and Wazd 5, but to
9 also recognize and commend her for her attitude and cooperative spuit as an ideal that other public employees would do well to emulate,
o and
1 WHEREAS, Jan has conducted herself with diguty and respect during the especially difficult period following the untimely death of
z Councilmember Jim Reiter, now therefore, be it
3 RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council does hereby reco�ize and commend Jan Keran for hex work as the Legislative Aide to
a Councilmember Jim Reiter, and be it
5 FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Council wants to make special mention of Jan's cooperarive spirit, pleasant attitude, and her quiet and
6 effecrive manner, and, be it
� FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul on behalf of the late Councilmember Jun Reiter, wishes to thank and
8 commend Jan fox her many years of service to the citizens of Saint Paul and Wazd 5, and especially for her dedicarion to the late, and
9 highly esteemed Councilxnember, Jun Reiter.
