Wi�REAS, Charter Section 203.2 provides for budget revisions within the adopted budget; and
WHEREAS, In the adoption of the 1971 Budget an appropriation entitled "Special Election"
in the amount of $30,619.00 in Charter Fund 19 - Activity 0801, has been provided; and
WHEREAS, It appears at this late date that there will be no need for a "Special Election"
during 1971; and
WHEREAS, Previous action of the Council has reduced this budgeted fund to $16,119.00
(C.F, 255984) ; and
WHEREAS, Funds have been provided in Charter Fund 14, Activity 0630 - Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, Action by the 1971 State Legislature authorized an additional judge for �
Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, Such action necessitated additional expenditures to provide necessary law books
and other costs indigenous to the new judge in the estimated amount of $5,000.00; and there-
fore be it
RESOLVED, That the activity 0630 in Charter Fund 14 - Municipal Court is hereby increased
in the following items and amounts:
Contractual Services $ 224.00
Commodities 3,126.00
Capital Outlay 1,650.00
$5,000.00
and therefore be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That Activity 0801 in Charter Fund 19 is hereby further decreased in
the amount of $5,000.00 and therefore be it
FINALLY RESC/LVED, That this resdution shall not be adopted by the Council until after
� a public hearing has been held, for which five (5) days public notice shall have been
given once in the official newspaper of the City, and the approval of the Comptroller is
endorsed on this resolution.

IN THE SAINT PAUL CITY BUDGET FOR 1971.
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to Saint Paul
City Charter, Section 203.2, the Saint Paul City Council will
hold a public hearing on the lOth day of December, 1971, at
10:00 A.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall and Court
House Building, Saint Paul, Minnesota, for the purpase of considering
revisions within the adQpted budget for 1971.
