A G R E E M E N T THIS AGREEMENT, is made and entered into this day of , 1971 , by and between the City of Saint Paul, # a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City", and the Minnesota Vikings Football Club, a corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Vikings" for the leasing of Midway Staduim a�k�a St. Paul Municipal Stadium, hereinafter referred to as "Stadium" , subject to the following terms and conditions: 1 . This agreement shall be in force and effect from January l, 1972, through December 31 , 1972. 2. For the use of the Stadium, as set forth herein, the Vikings shall pay to the City the sum of/Four Thousand Eight Hundred and no�100 Dollars (�4,800.00) on or before December 31, 1972. 3. During the term of this agreement, the Vikings shall� have the full use and enjoyment of the playing field, locker rooms, coache���so�, showers and adequate equipment storage space at the Stadium. The City agrees to have its Stadium personnel cooperate in all ways to insure the maximum use of the aforementioned Stadium facilities for the Vikings . The City and Vikings acknowledge the primary purpose of the Vikings ' use of the Stadium �will be as a practice and training area for its members and staff. 4. The Vikings agree to provide, in any manner, twenty-four (24) hours notice to the Stadium' s management each time the Vikings wish to use the Stadium. Such notice will provide an adequate opportunity for .Stadium personnel to remove any obstacles to the v iK:i�igs " ase o� �h� S��,u���. 5. The Vikings agree to yield its use of the Stadium' s facilities at such times as City high school teams are engaged in football games at the Stadiutn. f . � . � � � 6. The Vikings shall be responsible for the restoration of the playing fie]_d of the Stadium to the condition of the same existing at the inception of the Vikings ' use thereof. The cost of such - 'i restoration shall be borne by the Vikings. ']. The Vikings agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless �� the City from any and all claims of liability for injury, death or property damage while making use of Stadium facilities or while Viking equipment is stored at the Stadium. . The Vikings further I, I� agree to pay the City for any and� all damage to Stadium facilities, � , besides that mentioned in Paragraph 6 above, while the Vikings make use of the Stadium under this agreement. 8. In order to carry out the preceding paragraph of this agreement, the Vikings agree to furnish to the Corporation Counsel � of the City, no later than July 1 , 1972, evidence of public liability insurance, as weel as workmen' s compensation insurance covering the period of this agreement. The City shall be named as a co-insured on all insurance policies mentioned herein. 9. The City agrees, � that upon the demand of the Vikings ' coach or management, the Stadium shall be closed to any and all members of the public, while the Vikings are making use of its � facilities, exclusive of regular Stadium personnel . No cameras � of any kind, type or description nor devices capable of transmitting or recording the human voice, exclusive of telephones normally at the Stadium, shall be allowedon the grounds of the Stadium, while the Vikings are present, without the consent of its coach or management. The City agrees to utilize its Stadium personnel to carry the provisions of this paragraph. • 10.
