In the Matter of grading and surfacing with bitu�iaous material the alley in
Block 1, Macalester Park, Block 1, &lmer and I�iorrison's Rearrangement of part of
Macalester Park and Ecke's Addition from Grand Avenue to Cambridge Aneaue (G-1983),
under Preliminary Order 252738 approved �'ebruary 26, 1971 ,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. Tl�at the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to grade and surface with bituminous material the alleq in Block 1, Macalester Park,
Block 1, Elmer and Morrison's Rearrangemen� of part of Macalester Park and Ecke's
Addition from Grand Avenue to Gambridge Avenue (G-1983),
with no alternatives, and tha,t the estim�ted cost thereof is $ 2,627.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 4th day of
May, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'elock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
