In the Matter of changing the grade of the alley in Block 22, Frankson's Camo Park
Addition fraea Frankson Street to Fair Place to conform to the grade as shoivn on the
profile on �ile in the Department of Public Works.
Also, condemning and taking an easem�nt in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts
and fills, inclndin� right of re�oval of lateral suppart fro� subject land or re-
�aiader thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or constructioncf slopes in the
grading, and surfacing with bituffiinous material the alley in Block 22, Franlcaon's
Como Park Addition fram Frankson Street to Fair Place, (G-1982),
under Preliminary Order 253039 approved I+iarch 16, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to chaage the grade of the alley fn Block 22, Frankson's Como Park Addition fram
Frankson Street to F'air Flace to coaform to the grade as shown on the profile cn
file in the Depart�at of Public Works.
Also, condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts
and fills, including right of reffioval of lateral support from subject land or re-
ffiainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the
grading and surfacing with bituminous �aterisl the alley in Block 22, Franksvn's
Como Park Addition from Frankson Street to Fair Place, (G-1982), in accordance with
the blueprint her�to atlached and made a part hereof, the hatched portions shawing
the cuts and the shaded portions showing the fills,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 85.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 4th day of
�tg�,�9_71 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
