Contract �ommittee therefor and hereby award5 contract for furnish-
ing all labor� material� machines� tools and equipment for construct-
ing� repa��ing or reconstructing such monolithic concrete sidewalks
and other work incidental thereto, within SIDEWALK DISTRICT N0. 3�
as may be ordered by the Council fo.� the current year prior to
December 15� 1971� except s�ch work as the Council may ord�r to
be done by City Force Account� for the Department of Public Works�
�znder Contract No. 71-M- "526, to AREA CEMENT ��MPANY for the con-
tract price of $194�642.00 (Plus- Va1. & Assmt. Serv. - $3�892.84,.
Engineering and Inspection 16%- $31,142.72� Tests $200.00) in ac-
cordance with the plans and specifications and Formal Bid #4473 of
said Area C�ment Company such bid being the lowest and said Area
Cement Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Couns�l be and h�reby is directed to draft the proper
form of Contract therefor and proper City officials h�r�by are
authorized to �xecute said contract on b�half of e City f Saint
Paul,
