under Preliminary Order 2�31g9 approved xarch 19, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to rcccnstract the side�alk on the �vest side oi Benhill Road fro� Lombard Ave�ue

to the aonth approaimately 135 �eet abutting 15 B�nhill Road aad by deing all other
work �hich is necessary and incidenCal to complete said i�provement, except where
good and sufficient poured side�alks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' wide Walk
� 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wid� walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 27th day of
April, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'elock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta.ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
