fram Orleans Street to Ottawa Aveaue and bq doing all other work which is necessary

The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above irnprovement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstrt�ct the sideWalk c>n both aides of West Stevens 3treet fro� Orlea�s Street
to Ottawa Avesue and bq doin g all other work which is necessary and incidental to
co�plete said improvement, except where good and snfficient poured sidewalks ac�►
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ '�.40 ger lin ft far S' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide valk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 27th day of
April, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
