Dear Sir: �
This is written in response to the application of Camelot
Chateau, Inc. for a permit to install a 172-car parking lot to
be used in conjunction with an apartment project on property
adjoining vacated West California Avenue and vacated Park Street.
The property is further described in detail by the legal
description on file.
This matter was heard at the February 18, 1971, Board of
Zoning meeting, at which time the staff reported that the
revised plans which provide for internal parking meet design
standards.
Representing the application was Mr. Roy Spannaus, who said
that a portion of the property has been dedicated to the City
for a street, and that portions of California Avenue and Park
Street are being vacated for the project.
The Board heard a motion to recommend approval. The motion
was seconded and carried by a 4-0 vote.

PRESENT: Mrs. Cochrane, Messra. Ames, Maietta, and Mansur of the Board;
and Messrs. Brown and Roaetter, and Mrs. Frantzen of the staff.
CAMELOT CBATEAU. INCL: An application for � permit to instell a 172-car
parking lot to be used in conjunction with an apartment project oa property
adjoining vscated West California Avenue and vacated Park Street.
Mr, Rosetter noted that the plan meets design standards, aad th,�t i� will
have internal parking. He said �he staff feels it is a nice plan,
Repreaenting the applicant was Mr. Roy Spanaaus, who showed the revised
plan; this plaa showa increased driveway widthss and two fire hydr�nts.
He noted that a portion of th� property has been dedicated to the City for
a aew street. They haven't petitioned for the street as yet, but they plaa
to do so in a very short time.
Mro Mafetta moved for epproval of the revised plan. The motion was seconded
by Mr, Mansury and carried ananimously.
