Wf�REAS, pursuant to Council File No. 252733 and
Council File No. 252732, the Council of the City of Saint
Paul has authorized the sale of �4, 500, 000 in Capital
Improvement Bonds, Series 1971, and �2, 000, 000 in Water
Pollution Abateme nt Bonds, Series 1971; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Sale provides for the delivery
of such bonds to any city designated by the successful
purchaser, and the cost of such delivery to be borne by
said purchaser; and �'�
Wf�REAS, the Council deems it appropriate and advisable
for the Commissioner of Finance to be present at, the closing
of said bond sale, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That Rosalie L. Butler, Commissi��oner of
Finance, is granted permission to travel to New York C,ity
for the purpose of accepting payment of the proceeds �'�';�
the sale of the above Capital Improvement and i�ater Pollution
Abatement Bonds, delivery of which are to be made on April 5,
19'71. '
