2 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has undertaken a variety of iniriatives to improve the public's enjoyment and use of the
3 Mississippi riverfront, including improving the site condirions of Raspbery Island; and

5 WHEREAS, the Toro Foundation of the Toro Company has generously offered to assist in these ongoing efforts by donating an
6 irrigarion system for a portion of Raspberry Island; and
8 WHEREAS, the value of the irrigarion system and the related installation services is $19,900; and
10 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the donation of the irrigafion
11 equipment and the related installation service; and be it

13 FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council sincerely tUauks and expresses its appreciarion to the Toro Foundation
14 for this generous conhiburion benefitting the City of Saint Paul Riverfront.
