The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 20th day of
April, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'cicek A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

The Commissioner of Public Works9 having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File Noe 252661 approved
Feb. 24th. 19 71 relative to reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides
of Ross Ave. frmm Duluth St. to. Frank St. and by doing all other work which is
necessary and incidental to complete said improvement.
and having investigated the mattera and things referred to thereia, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft, for standard sidewalk
5 ft. wide and $5.30 per lin, ft. for standard sidewalk 6 ft. widee
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvemeat is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
