The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 2A�h day of
April, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

The Commiissioner of Public Works9 having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council knoFan as Council File No. 252660 approved
Feb. 24th. 19 71 relative to reconstructinQ the sidewalk on the east
side of Duluth St. from Orange Ave. to the south aRproximatelv 150 ft. and bv
�oin� all other work which is necessary and incidental to comvlete said improve-
ment.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
le The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk
5 ft. wide and $5.30 per lin. ft, for standard sidewalk 5 fte wideo.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvenmeat is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
