The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to recenstrnct th� side�alk on both eidas of Frank Street fro� �axthorae Avexu�
ta Oraase Av�a�e and by doing all other ��rk �iah is neaes�ar� asd iieideatal to

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.4A per lin ft for S' �ide walk
$ 5.3� per li� ft for 6' wide �alk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 2et� day of
April� 1<171 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works9 having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File No< 252659 approved
Feb. 24th. 1971 relative to reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides
of Frank St. from Hawthorne Ave. to Orange Ave. and bq doing all other work which
is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement.
and having investigated the tnatters and thinga referred to therein, hereby reports:
1, The estim�ted cost thereof is $4e40 per line ft, for standard sidewalk
5 ft. wicie and $5.30 per lino fto for standard sidewalk b ft. wide.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof,
