The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.

Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the �Ot� day of
April.r 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

The Commissioner of Public Worksy having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council kno�rn as Council File Noe 252657 approved
Feb. 24th. 19 71 relative to reconstructint� the sidewalk on both sides
of Forest St. from Hawthorne Ave. to Orant�e Ave. and bv doint� all other work which
is necessary and incidental to camnlete said improvement.
