The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to raeo�struet the sid�valk on the aorth side o� Case Av�nge fr�a Dnl�th Street to
Fra�k 3treet and by doi�sg all other �►c�rk phich is a�cessar� a�d iacidestal to a�-
plete �aid ialreveseat, egcspt where gcod and sntficient panred side�alks aa� esist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ �•�r0 p�r lir� ft for 3' xide walk

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the �0�,_day of
egril�1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building� in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File Noe 252654 approved
Feb. 24th. 19 71 relative to reconstructin_g the sidewalk on the north
side of Case Ave. from Duluth St. to Frank St. aad by doin& all other work which
is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reportsa
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft. for atandard sidewalk
5 ft, wide and $So30 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk 6 ft. wideo
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereofe
