WHEREAS, the Committee on Lands, composed of the Mayor,
the Purchasing Agent, the Commissioner of Finance, and the
Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings of
the City of 5aint Paul, has secured an agreement for the
purchase of that certain property described as follows:
Lot twenty-seven (27) in Block six (6) in Como
Prospe+�t Addition, according to the plat thereof
on file and of record in the office of the Register
of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, the property described therein is necessary for the
Loeb Lake Park Site, Open Space Land Project No. Minn. OSA-81 (DL) ,
and the price at which the property may be purchased is at the total
amount of $425.00, a fair and reasonable price according to the ap-
praisal obtained by the Committee on Lands; and
WI�REAS, said Committee has recommended the purchase of said
property at the price stated above, as evidenced by the letter of
said Conuaaittee subanitted herewith= now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 303 of the Charter of the
City of Saint Paul, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby
authorize the purchase of the land described as:

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the proper City officials,
upon adoption of an ordinance pursuant to aforesaid Charter
Section 303, are hereby authorized and directed to pay to
Frank J. Ronkowski and Helen A. Ronkowski, record fee owners,
the sum of $425.00, said sum to be paid to the aforesaid vendors
from PIR Code 6000, to be reimbursed from Fund 9769-501-001, upon
their furnishing evidence of good marketable title in the aforesaid
vendors, and the total payment to be made upon tender by said parties
of appropriate deeds conveying title to said property to the City of
Saint Paul.

Gentlemen and Madam:
The City-c�f Saint Paul, act3ng �hrough its Valuation Engineer,
ha.s negotiated to purchase certaa.n property described as follows:
Lot twenty-seven (27) in Block six (6) in Ccmio
Prospect Addition, acc.
The owners of the above described land, Frank J. and Helen A.
8onkowski, have accepted an offer tendered them by the City in
the amount of $�25.00 as compensation for the sale of the land to
the City.
This property is needed by the City of Saint Paul for Loeb Lake Paxk.
In view of the reasonable price for which it can be purchased, said
price being the appraised fair and reasonable ma.rket value therefore,
we, the Comomittee on Lands, do recommend to the Council of the City
of Saint Paul that it authorize the purchase of sa:i.d land in lieu of
condemnation procee.di.ngs at the price o� $3+25.00.
