The Gouncil of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
_ upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said impraveme�t
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council re�ommends is
to recoastrnct the sideWalk on �oth sides of Ar�ade Street fro� Third Street
Co Fourth Street luid by dmfng all other v�rk �ich is aeceasary aad inaid�n�al
to �oaplete said improveaent, exeept �ere goad and su$ficient po�rad aideNalka
mo� esist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof ia $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' �►idq6►alk.

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on sa,id improvement on the 19th , day of
l�irch, 1971 ; , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice af
sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Chaxt�r, stating the time and plaoe of
hearing, the na,ture of the improvement and the total.ce,st thereof as,estimated. ��� 1 7 ��
