�CIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, T Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City
of Saint Paul ha. undertaken a redevelopment project designa.ted as
the Summit-University Redevelopment Project Minn. R-47 within the
City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, The said redevelopment project contemplated expansion
of the Oxford Recreation Center and acquisition of land necessary
therefor; and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul ha.s submitted an application
to the State of Minnesota Department of Conservation for a contri-
bution for the Oxford Playground expansion, and which contribution
� was received by the City of Saint Paul in the amount of $26,509.39,
said contribution to be used for the acquisition of land necessary
for the Oxford Playground expansion; and
WHEREAS, The Housing and Redevelopment Authority ha.s acquired
-n the land necessary for the Oxford Playground expansion on behalf
n � of the City of Saint Paul, and the Commissioner of Parks and Recre-
;. ation and Public Buildings recommends tha.t the City forward the
D $26,509.39 contributed by the State of Minnesota for such land
-o acquisition; now, therefore, be it

o RESOLVED! Tha.t the Council of the -City of- Saint Paul does here-
o by concur in the recommendation of the Commissioner of Parks and
" Recreation and Public Buildings, and the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to transmit the sum of $26�509.39
� to t�.e Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint
Paul as reimbursement to the said Housing Authority for its cost .
incurred in acquiring the land necessary for the Oxford Playground
expansion; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� Tha.t Council Resolution, C. F. No. 244137,
approved Ma.y 28, 1969, authorizing the City to proceed with the
acquisition of land necessary for the expansion of Oxford Recrea-
tion Center, be and is hereby rescinded.
