WHEREAS� Virgil Doerfler ha.s requested permission to con-
struct and ma.intain a private sewer connecting his property
�,,��, located at 1348 Ames Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota� said private
sewer to be located on City property described as follows :
A strip of land 20 feet in width lying partly in the
Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, T. 29,
R. 22 and partly in the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest
1/4 of Section 27, T. 29, R. 22, being 10 feet on each
side of a center line described as follows: Commencing
at the point of intersection of the southerly line of
Aznes Avenue and the easterly line of Johnson Parkway; �
thence Southwesterly along said easterly line of
Johnson Parkway 275.3 feet to the point of beginning of
the center line to be described; thence deflecting to
the right 90° 00' a distance of 4 feet; thence deflect-
ing to the left 46° 30' a distance of 180 feet; thence
deflecting to the left 47° 30' more or less a distance
of 80 feet more or less to the easterly end of a stub
sewer connection now in place in Johnson Parkway, and
there termina.ting.
WHEREAS, The construction of the private sewer as soon as
possible is a matter of extreme urgency and necessity to said
Virgil Doerfler; and
WHEREAS� An Ordina.nce, C. ]�c�c��6,�, granting permission to
said Virgil Doerfler to proceed with the construction of said
private sewer has been prepared and introduced to the Council of
the City of Saint Paul on May T , 1971, and has been read before
the said Council� with eventual adoption set to occur 1�Y 25,
1971; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED� That in view of the extreme urgency of the request,
the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed
to issue a permit to Virgil Doerfler to construct the said private
sewer to serve the property located at 1348 Ames Avenue, subject
to all of the ����itions and requirements as set out in the
ordina.nce, C. , pending before the Council of the City
of Saint Paul� informal approval of said construction being here-
by given in anticipation of the fina.l adoption of the said
Ordinance.
