In the Matter of condenning and taking an easement ia the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of lat�ral support fram subject
land or remainder thereof, occasioaed by excavations thereof, or construction of
slopes �the grading and surfacing with bituminous material and construct concret�
curb and gutter on COHANSEY STREET from Idaho. Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue (G-1986),
under Preliminary Order 253043 approved March 16, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and
fills, including right of removal of lateral support-from�ub�.estr---._�:�d*-er �e�d��---�� -
thereof, occasioaed by excavations thereof, or constructian of slopes in the grading
and surfaeing with bituminous material and constract concret� curb aad gutter on
COHANSEY STREET from Idaho Avenue to Larpenteur Avene�e (G-1986), in accordance �ith
the blueprint hereto attached and made a part hereof, the hatched� portions ahvwing
the cuts and the shaded portions shoWing the fills,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 450.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the �th day of
.7une� 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.

order of the Council known as Council File No. 253043 approved
March 16, 19 7� relative to condemning and taking an easement in the
land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral
support from subject land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or
construction of slopes in the grading and surfacing with bituminous material and

and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein� hereby reports:
