In the Matter of constructing a public sanitary sewer in Burlington Road fram
Springside Drive to McKnight Road, and in McKnight Road trom Burlington Road to
approximately 2100 feet North of Burlington Road. Also ccrostruct public �anitary
sewer in Winthrop Street from Mailand Road North approximately 1015 feet to an
existing sewer easement and in Msiland Road from Winthrop Stree� to 158 feet West
of Che center line of McKnight 8oad; thence South in an ease�ent to be obtained,
325 feet and also North in an easement, to be obtained, 406.5 feet, all to be known
as the WINTHROP STREET, MAILAND ROAD, BURLINGTON ROAD SANITARY SE�+TER SYST$M,

under Preliminary Order 252778 approved March 2, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvexnent which the Council recommends is
to construct a public sat�itary se�►er in Burlington Road fram Springside Drive
to McKnight Soad, and in McKnight Road fram Burlington Road to approxi�ately
2100 feet North of Bnrlington Road. Also construct publie sanitary sewer in Win-
throp Street from M�iland xoad North approximately 1015 feet to an existing sewer
easement �nd in Maf,l+�nd Road from Winthrop Street to 158 feet West bf the center
line of McKniS�b��t�; thence South in an easement, to be obtained, 32S feet and
also North:� n �ia easement, to be obtained, 406,5 feet, all to be known as the
WINTHRO���ET, MAILAND ROAD, BURLINGTON ROAU SANITARY SEt�iER SYSTEM,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 60,400.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 3rd day of
June, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
HousQ and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,tin� the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the to ta1 cost thereof as estimated.
