I recommend a public hearing before the City Cauncil be held on November 19, 2003 to consider
a petition to vacate Part of Blocks 1 and 4, Butterfield Syndicate No. 2, part of adjoining alley and
part of vacated Stinson Street.
It has recently been discovered that part of the parking lot for Joe's Bait Shop is City property.
The City will declare it to be surplus to its needs and dispose of it as provided in Chapter 51 of the
Administrative Code.
This property is located in City Council DistricY 5, Planning District 6.
The subject petition is in proper form and has been signed by the requisite number of property
owners.

The City Clerk has refesed to this office for recommendation the petition of Jon Radabaugh for
the vacation of :
part of Lots 26 and 27, and part of the alley in Blockl, and part of Lot 4, Block 4, a11 in
Butterfield Syndicate Addition No. 2, and vacated Stinson Street accnxing thereto.
The purpose of this vacafion is to provide parking for Joe's Bait Shop. Utility easements will
be retained.
Will you please advise me of any concerns you may have regazding this proposed vacation. I would
like to receive your comments before September 25, 2003 so I can prepaze a report to the City
