OUNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM

COMMISSIONE ATF
WHEREAS� The Council of the City of Saint Paul� by its
resolution, C. F. 250011� approved August 11� 1970, granted per-
mission and authority to The First National Ba.nk of Saint Paul
to install electrical heating units for snow-melting purposes in
the public sidewalk abutting its building located on Block l$,
St. Paul Proper, subject to certain conditions contained within
the said resolution, and it is mutually agreeable to amend the
said resolution so as to increase the amount of the surety bond
filed pursua.nt thereto; now, therefore� be it
RESOLVED Tha.t Council Resolution, C. F. 250011, approved
August 11, 19�70, referred to above, be and the same is hereby
amended so as to delete from Section 2 thereof, Condition No. 10,
and insert the following in lieu and in place �hereof:
10. That said permittee shall furnish and deliver to
the City of St. Paul a surety bond in the amount of
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30�000.00) conditioned upon �
the permittee complying with all the terms and condi-
tions of this resolution and to indemnify, defend and w �
save ha.rmless the City of St, Paul from all lasses, lia- > �,
bility� judgments, suits, costs, charges, damages� or
expenses that may accrue to persons or property or the a �
City arising out of or connected with the construction
presence� maintena.nce, repa.ir and removal of the heated
sidewalk� which surety bond sha.11 remain in force and �
effect so long as the heated sidewalk or any part there- �
of remains on Block 18, St. Paul Proper, St. Paul,
Minnesota; �
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, Tha.t all the rema.ining terms and conditions
of the said resolution, C. F. 250011, continue in full force and
effect; and be it
