RESOLVED:
That the St. Paul City Council hereby grant permission
to the Parade Committee of "INDIAN WEEK" to conduct a parade through
the St. Paul Metropolitan Area on May 10, 1971, at 11:30 a.m.
The route will be as follows: From Rice Park proceed
east on Fourth Street to Wabasha, north on Wabasha to 7th Street,
east on 7th to Robert, north on Robert to Central into Aurora, west
to Park, North on Park to University, west on University to Rice,
where the parade will terminate at the Sears parking lot.
It is anticipated that there will be approximately three
hundred participants. This will include the floats, bands, and con-
vertibles for the various Indian queens.
