WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by
, the City Architect that the vacant and open buildings located at:
171 Milford
-in the City of Saint Pau1 are a pro�imate hazard to the public health�
welfare and s afety; and
WHEREAS, the last known record owners of s aid. property are:
Walter L. GeisenY�of, 286 Dayton Ave.'
' Mrs, Verna Geisenhof, 203 Sherburne Ave.
Arthur L. Fuller, c o Farrell Nursing Home, 165 Como Ave.
-ancl said ownera have failed to secure the saxne against entry by unauthorized
pereons in violation of 5ection 192. 18 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, and
s�id vacant and open buildirigs have been found. and determined by the Council,
of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace tp.the public health, welfare
and eafety and a public nuisance which must be immediately abated to prevent
loes of li£e or property; now, therefore be it
RE50LVED, that the City Architect is authorized and directed to
immediatiel�r secure said buildings by the use of contract labor under Contract
No. ?39� pending proceedin�s under the I�azardous Buildings Act; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the expense of securing such buildings be
paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, ancl that the Corporati.on
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburse said fund by
action againat the owner of said property. Estimated cost $129.25.
