WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by
, the City Architect that the vacant and open buildings located at:
754 Selby Ave.
-in the City of Saint Pau1 are a proximate hazard to the public health,
welfare and s afety; and
WHEREAS, the last known record owners of said property are:
C. W. Michael, 202 N. Snelling Ave.
-and said owners have failed to secure the saxne against entry by unauthorized
peraons in violation of 5ection 192. 18 of the Saint Paul Legislativ�e Code, and
eaid vacant and open buildings have been found. and determined by the Council
of the City of 5aint Pa�l to constitute a menace to the public health, welfare
and safety and a public nuisance which must be imrnediately abated to prevent
losa of life or property; now, therefore be it
, RE50LVED, that the City Architect is authorized and directed to
immediatiel�r secure said buildi��;s by the use of contract labor under Contract
No. 739�pending proceedir�gs under the I-iazardous Buildings Act; and be it
FURTHER RESOLV'�D, that the expense of securing such buildings be
paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburs e s aid fund by
action against the owner of said property. Estimated cost $47.00.
