WHEREAS, The Compissioner of Public Safety and the Bureau of Health have
submitted investigation and inspection reports pertaining to the hereinafter
described propert�es, copies of wMich are attached hereto and made a part
hereof;
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the conditions described �n the herei:nafter
described properties constitutes nuisance which threaten the public peace,
health and safety; and
WNEREAS, Pursuant to Section 374 of the Charter of the City of Saint
Paul and Sectior� 265.52 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, 24 hours' notice
has been given to the owner, occ�pant, or agent of each of such prc�perties
demanding the abatement and removal of such nuisances; r�ow, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That upon the recomnendation of the Commmissioner of P�iic
Safety, the Conmissioner of Public Works is hereby directed to summarily and
forthwith remove the said nwisances from the following described properties:
1367 Davern - East � of North � of Lot 2 and North � of Lot 1 , Block 9,
Homecroft Addi ti on
High weeds and grass in the entire yard area around vacant house. Cut all high
weeds and grass.
Southwest corner of Howard and Stillwater; approximately 899 Howard - Block 1 ,
Merit Addition (all lots)
Excessively high weeds on large vacant area. �
1002 East Lawson - Lot 15, Block 3, Douglas Addition
Remove refuse by garage, cut weeds by a11ey.
Lot between 827 and 837 Pederson; approximately 831 Pederson - Lot 2, Block 26
Beaver Lake Heights Addition
Large tree logs and some tree branches on vacant lot. Remove logs and branches.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Comnissioner of Public Safety is directed
to ascertain the cost of such removal and to forward the same to the County
