WHEREAS, the 1971 Greater Metropolitan St. Paul United Fu'nd
Campaign officially started as of September 13, 1g71 , and
WHERFA S, the St. Paul City Council in past years has always
approved and encouraged employee participation, Now, Therefore, Be it
RESOLVED, that the St. Paul City Council reaffirms its support
and participation of the 1971 Greater Metropolitan St. Paul United Fund
campaign and, Be It
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the St. Paul City Council agrees to the
selection of personnel to direct the campaign for this worthy comrt�anity
need and encourages all city employees to give a "fair share" to this
single on-the-job soticitation using the payroll deduction method of
contributing.
