In the Matter of condemning and taking an �ases�nt in the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills, including right of remonal of lateral s�appart from subjecx
land or remainder thereof, occaaioned bq excavations ther�of, or construction of
slopes in the grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alleq in Block 8,
College Park fres Fry Street to and including the cul-de-sac (G-1974),
under Preliminary Order 253041 approved lrtarch 16, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement in C�E ZSflC� necessary for the slopea, cuts aAd
fills, including ri�ht of renoval of lateral support from subject land or remainder
thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof, or construction of slopes in the grading
and surfacing witiybituainous material the alley in Block 8, College Park from Fry
Street to and including the cul-de-sa� (G•1974), in accordance with the hlueprint
hereto attached and made a part hereof, the hatched portions shawing the cuts snd the
ahaded portions showing the fills,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 70.�0
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 18th day of
Maq, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
