BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Laws 1957, � Chapter 685, as amended by La.ws 1961, Chapter 495, as amended by La;as 1969, Chapter 666, requiring the availability � of matching funds from the United States Government, the City - of Saint Paul may expend funds rema.ining in the "F1ood Control Prolect Fund'' established pursuant there.to for any expenditures reasonably required, as determined by the Council of the City of Saint Pau1, for flood contr_o1 purposes and/or _ flood pZain �.a.n.agement purposes . _ Appropriations from the fund aforesaid ma.y be made by � -: resolution af the Council of the City of Saint Paul, ancl upon _ such resa�lut�on the moneys may properly be spent, notwithstanding na appropria.tion thereof appears in the 1971 budget of- °the City � of Saint Paui. , � - Sectian 2.
