RESOLVED� That the Counc il of the City of Saint Paul
hereby takes cognizance of the pendency of certain proposed
legislation now before the Minnesota Legislature and embodied
in House File No . 62'7 , relating to taxation and providing
for allocation of property tax revenues allocable to inereases
in the assessed valuation of commercial-industrial property
within the metropolitan area; and
RESOLVED FURTHER� That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul recognizes that if said proposed legislation is enaeted,
it will have a detrimental. effect on the City of Saint Paul
and hereby expresses its opposition to the bill ; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� That copies of this resolution be
forwarded to the Ramsey County Senate and House Delegations.
