hereby approves :
��A bill for an act relating to the city of
Saint Paul ; authorizing the fixing and payment
of the annual salaries of its mayor, its
comptroller, and six councilmen; repealing
Laws 1967, Chapter 636. ��
and recommends the same to the Ramsey County Senate and House
delegations .

BE IT ENACTED BY T��E LEGISLATUR.E OF THE STATE OF TIINNESOTA:
Section 1 . �T. PAUL, CITY OF ; OFFICIALS ; SALARIES .7
I�TOtwithstanding any prior general or special law or any
provision in the charter of the city of Saint Paul , the
salaries of the mayor and each councilivan of said city
shall be as follows , from and after Juiie 6 , 1972 :
Mayor: �25 , 000 per annum
Council.jnen: �20, 000 each per annum
Sec . 2. These salaries shall b� payable in such �
installments and at such times as the governinb body of
said city shal.l. designate . .
Sec . 3 . This act shall supersede the provisions of �
the charter of the city of �`ain�; Pau1. effective Jui1e 6 ,
1972.
Sec. 4 . Laws 1q67, Ch�.pter 636 , is repealed
effective June 6 , 1972, or the e�fective da�t;e of� this act,
whichever is I.ater. •
Sec . 5 . TYiis act shall become effective only af�Lei
its approval by a majority o� tlie governing body of t;he
city of Saint Paul aj.1d u}�on compliance with �;he provisions
