Addendum to Agreement between the City and Gauger and Associates,
Inc. , pertaining to providing of Professiona.l Architectural and
Engineering Services for the Design and Construction of the City's
Ma.intena.nce Services Office, a copy of which is attached hereto
and incorporated hereby by reference.

ADDEND !� TO AGRLEi�ENT
THIS ADDENDUI�7 TO AGREEMENT, Made this day of
�, 1971, by and between the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, a
municipal corporation of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter
referred to as "City", and GAUGF.R AND ASSOCIATES , INC. , hereinafter
referred to as "Assoc.iate Architect";
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS , City and Associate Archii�ect have entered into a
certain Agreement for Pr.ofessional Architectural and Engineering
Services, dated the 18th day of November, 1970, whereby Associate
Architect agreed to perform and furnish certain services under the
supervision �f the City; and
WHEREAS, The said Architectural and Engineering Services
Agreement contemplated the design and coristruction of a Traffic
Operations Building for the City' s Department of PuUlic [aorks, and
it was contemplated that office space for the City' s Maintenance
Services Office would be included within the Traffic Operations
Bui:lding; and
WHEREAS, It has been determined by the City that a more effi-
cient operation would be provided i£ a sepaxate building were con-
structed for the City' s Mainteri�.nce Services Office, and that
Associat� Archite�t should provid� the necessary services for the
design and construction of a separate Maintenance Services Office
Building, subject to the terms and conditions as set forth in the
said Agreement bet�aeen the res�ective parties dated the 18th day
of November, 1970;

NOW, THEREIiORE, CITY AND ASSOCIATE ARCHITECT AGREE AS FOLLOWS :
1. The above-referenced Agreement between the City and
Associate Architect dated the 18th day of November, 1970, be and
the same is hereby amended so as to direct and authorize the

Associate Architect to assist the City and Lhe City' s architect
in the design of a Maintenance Services Office Building in addition
to the City' s Traffic Operations Building, for the consideration of
7 1/2% of the project cost for said Services Office Building.
2 . Except as modified above, all of the remaining terms,
conditions and considerations of said Agreement dated the 18th day
of November, 1970, shall continue in full force and effect, it
being e�pressly agreed by and between the City and Associate
Architect that the preliminary report for both the Traffic Opera-
tions Building and the Maintenance Services Office Building shall
be provided the City for the lump sU.m of Fifteen Thousand and
no/100 Dollars ($15, 000.00) as provided for in Article V.
� IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The parties hereto have caused this
Agreement to be executed as of the day and year first above
written. �
