WHEREAS� The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property
Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (P.L. 91-646), ena.cted Janua.ry 2,
1971, requires assurance from the City of Saint Faul tha.t the City
will meet the requirements of the said Act with respect to (1)
displacement �and (2) land acquisition within the meaning of the
said Act; now, therefore, be it
. RESOLVED, Tha.t the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
beha.lf of the City of Saint Paul, as it pertains to the City' s
Scheffer Recreation Center Site Expansion, Assurance and Binder
with respect to compliance with the relocation requirements of
Section 210 and the land acquisition requirements of Title III
of the said Act; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to transmit
certified copies of this resolution to the Department of Housing and
Urban Development and to attest the signature of the Assurances and
Binders executed by the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings .
