RESOLVED� Th�t the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby takes cognizance of the pendency of certain proposed
legislation now before the Minnesota Legislature and embodied
in Senate File No. 89, relating to the allocation of liquor
taxes and fees to municipalities , increasing the proceeds
of the tax collected for the benefit of counties, cities
and villages from 30 percent to 50 percent; and
RESOLVED FURTHER� That the Council of the City of
Saint Paul approves said proposed legislation and urges
the Ramsey County Senate and Hous� del egati ons to wo rk
towards its passage .
