RESOLVED� The Council of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota,
does hereby approve Application for Planning Grant from the
U. S. Department of Transportation, Urban Mass Transportation
Administration, for the study and development of a Pedestrian
Transportation Circulation and Distribution Plan for the City of
Saint Paul' s Core Area, and the Commissioner of Public Works is
hereby authorized and directed to execute the said application
on beh�f of the City of Saint Paul and to transmit the application
to the Department of Transportation; and to provide all additional
information as required by the said Department of Transportation;
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVEDs That the Commissioner of Public Works is
hereby authorized to execute on beha.lf of the City of Saint Paul
assurance tha.t the City of Saint Faul will comply with Title VI
of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Department of Transportation) .
