RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Worka be and is hereby instructed and
clirected to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Couneil fox
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials axe hereby authorized and directed ta pro-
ceed with tl� making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

To the Coamiissioner of Finance of the Cfty of St, Paule
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File No. 251670 , approved
December 23. 19�relative to reconstructinct the sidewalk on the west
side of Saratoaa St. from Portl.and Ave to Laurel Ave and by doinq all other
work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement
and having .investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reportst
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lino ft. for standard �idewalk
5 ft, wide and $5.30 per lin, fto for standard sidewalk 6 ft, wideo
2. A plan, profile or sketch of safd improvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
3. Initiated by the Cotsm�issioner of Public Works X
4. Improvement is asked for upon petition
